Icon Color Problem

I am using Windows XP Professional SP1a (all security updates installed) and
recently in a load of programs, the icon colors have gone wrong (Nero,
Copernic Agent). They have completely lost color and gone either black or
other strange colors (pink).

All Windows icons display normally.

I have tried clearing the icon cache but this makes no difference.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Download and run PowerToys it has Icon repair option.
