ico file causing Windows Explorer to crash?

I run winxp home edition version 2002 with service pack 3 installed...
Mine is an eMachine T6414 with AMD Athlon 64 3200+...

I converted a .psd file to a .png file using Icon Sushi 1.21.
I saved the .png file in .../My Documents/My Pictures in my system directory.
I later reopened the .png file and saved it as .ico file in the same location.
Now, Windows Explorer crashes everytime I try to open the My Pictures folder.
Can anyone help me to delete the .ico file?... or otherwise work around this
problem?
I have tried opening the folder with Windows Explorer in Safe Mode, without
success...
I have tried opening My Pics files with various imaging editors without
success...
Any response is greatly appreciated.
I could really kick myself right now.

Type cmd in Start - Run

then

del "%userprofile%\My Documents\My Pictures\<your file name>.ico"

Replace <your file name" with your real filename.

eg for a file called icon.ico

del "%userprofile%\My Documents\My Pictures\icon.ico"
