.ICO files not displaying in Windows Explorer

I had this happen on my other computer, Windows 2000, after installing
an icon editing program. However, that problem was able to fix itself
with TweakUI's Repair Icons.

On my new Windows XP Pro, I cannot get the icons to display in
Explorer.

..ICO files all look like a little Win3.1 Program Manager window.

I have checked the registry suggestions that I found online, but
nothing has helped.

Please advise.
Thanks.

She has a different version of the icon repair. I think it is for a
slightly different problem. I used the one you linked me to and it
worked. The previous one I had already tried was not quite the same.
