IBM TP T20 DVD Problems

I recently switched from Windows 98 to XP. I tried to
play a DVD in the Toshiba DVD/CD Rom player and Windows
is now telling me that it can not decode the DVD
player. I do not want to have to pay for a decoded since
this was working fine with Windows 98. Any suggestions??
