Hello to IBM SCSI Raid Controller insiders: Help needed!

IBM ServeRAID-4H Ultra160 SCSI Controller Adapter ( Product code 37L6889 )
Bios flashing procedure problem: After successful flashing with dos boot
image and appropriate OS version image to Serveraid v. 7.0 the configuration
menue afterwards says "Bios erased". What am I doing wrong?

The Controller has a 4 pin jumper (Jp1 / T1 ), I did not find any
explanation in IBM technical reference for using this jumper within the
flashing procedure. Anybody can guide me or is my controller defect. How to
check this?

I get POST Error code 3200 in different servers and slots when booting.

Controller is identified (Firmware 7.0), but not accessible.
Configuration utility says: "BIOS erased"

I like to flash the bios as recommended: "Place download jumpers on the
controller and try to flash the
Firmware code to the card"

Question: Where are and how to apply the jumpers on the 37L6889
(Serveraid-4H)?

I did not find any picture or guide where and how to apply the
jumpers on IBM Support sites and available literature.

Best regards
any help welcome, thanks in advance

Did you remove the "Download Jumper" and properly reinstall the
daughter board after the flash process?

Are you sure you even need to jumper this to flash upgrade? Other
Serveraids I've worked with do not require jumpering to upgrade.
Using the "Download Jumper" and flash upgrading is usually recommended
for some DRAM errors.

While you're at it 7.10B is now available.

Where did you see this?
