i960 purchase

Thankyou for the advice everyone. I bought the Canon I960 printer today.
One more question, where is the best online site for buying photo paper (I'm
assuming online is cheaper), and what type? I'll be printing 4x6s on this
printer from my Canon PS-50.
Thanks in advance.

Because you will be doing mostly photos, you made a good choice. You should
stick with Canon paper. I found Fuji photo paper to work pretty good too.
Amazon.com has the Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy for $8 w/ 50 sheets which
is a good deal. If your order is over $25 you get free shipping.

Sam's Club has Ilford Galerie Smooth Glossy: 100 8-1/2x11 for $25. The
paper works fine. Ilford has a good reputation for exceptional b/w
papers, films and chemistry. I can't imagine problems with the paper.

I use RedRiver. They sell it in a 100 pack for around $18 I think. I
believe that's what I paid for the last box.

I use the 66lb Polar Gloss. It's great stuff.

I just printed 30 borderless 8.5X11's on my i950 as Christmas Presents and
they all came out flawless.

I'll second the Ilford choice. I use it with my i860, and it works perfectly.
No reason it shouldn't be the same with the i960.

What profile are you using to print on the i960?
