i386 message

I'm trying to install Soublaster Live 5.1 to my computer and it keeps asking me for the Microsoft Home Edition Cd and I insert it into the drive and it still cant locate the file in the i386 folder so therefore I can't install my sound card. I looked up the problem in the glossary for Windows XP and it said i should download the XPSP1.exe file and create a i386 directory but that file is not available anymore. Any siggestions?

I can't download the file as a whole and create a directory on my computer to extract the file to just like it tells me to do under support on the windows xp website.

It will install and during the installation it will create it's own i386
directory in the appropriate place.

It still isnt working. It wants to find the file ksuser.exe but it still cannot locate it anywhere and therefore my installation can't be completed.
