I want to type 1/2 - and not have it appear smaller

When I type 1/2 or 1/4 - the numbers appear small. But, I can type 2/3 and
they stay that size. Where do I find, so I can change default?

Press Alt+T | press A | click the AutoFormat As You Type tab | uncheck
the "Fractions (1/2) with fraction character (½)" box | OK.

On the AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools | AutoCorrect Options, clear the
check box for "Fractions (1/2) with fraction character (½)."
