I want to retrieve autoarchived sent mail items?

I autoarchived outlook once on the advice of a colleague. I was told I would
be able to find archived items easily, but I can't find them anywhere. I need
to find an email i sent a while ago and can't find it anywhere! I didn't
archive for the first 2 years, but thingsgot kind of slow loading, so I
autoarchived without noting where the items would go. I've tried outlook
help, but got stuck in a loop which needs to know the location of the items I
want to retieve. Help! Please!

HI,
your files stored in the archive.pst.
So please search your archive.pst on your computer and open it in outlook
File | Open | Datafile

Click File>Archive and look where Outlook is archiving your data. Then
click File>Open>Outlook Data File, browse to that location, select the PST,
and click OK. You'll now have access to all your archived items.
