i hate this thing!!! Had no problem before i downloaded windows live mail.
i use MSN and love their email service, now i cannot stop widows mail that
came w/ this Vista 64, from opening everytime i want to email someone by a
website link.
Windows mail is not my default email - nor do i want it to be, i don'e even
want the livemail to be my default mail application.
Why isnt in this
Vista which i alo hate- an option to remove and uninstall windows mail??? as
i have the newer and better livemail anyway????
I loved WinXP- and Win 98, but this Vista 64..is full of useless bloatware
and my laptop came with a bunch of them also.
there is more software that are installed that it shows up in the programs
and appl folder where you can uninstall them.
Xp was easy to get rid of unwanted junk.
I really want to remove this windows mail- and stop it from opening and
pushing my default msn email server to the side.

all this messge that it can't send http email so several important emails to
certain customer service i coulod not send using their email link.

how to remove it or at least sdtopping it from opening and i mean
EVER!!!!!the mail that came w/ vista64!

thanks

Have you tried configuring Windows Live Mail as your default Mail Client?

Change default programs using Set Program Access and Computer Defaults:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/...sing-Set-Program-Access-and-Computer-Defaults

You'll find support for Windows Live Mail (WLMail) in this public newsgroup:
microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

Via the web-interface:

Have no fear.....Windows 7 I hear will make you happy. I too do not like
Vista 64bit, and windows 7 is out this week, but I was advised to wait a few
weeks before buying it. I was also advised by the CPU guru in the Atlanta
Papers that it would be best to totally delete your hard drive, install
Windows 7 and reinstall your programs.
