Durning startup i receive a message GCasdtServHolder message. I tried to do a
system restore to an earlier time. I tried the Micosoft anti spyware Beta 1
again and got the same error message at startup. I then got frustrated and
went to add and remove programs and removed it and error went away. Then I
downloaded it from the microsoft site again intalled it and message came
back. I then would like you to call me or provide me with number I can speak
with live person.

Johhny, this is a beta program. This means that 1) it is
unsupported--Microsoft does not provide support for it, and 2) it has bugs
in it, such as the message you are seeing.

If this message isn't tolerable in your use of the machine, uninstalling
Microsoft Antispyware beta1 is the correct action to take.

Beta2 will be available within the next 62 days, and I believe this will not
have the bug in it that you are seeing.

This is a well known bug.

In the future, simply type in the name of the particular item you are
wondering about (gcasdtservholder in this case) in the "Search for" text box
and press Enter. Doing so returned a list of 18 different threads for this
issue. If you would have entered the name of one of the items in the dialog
box the list would have been about 50 or more for this particular bug.

Taking this simple step would return a reasonable answer without
overburdening the server with so many threads about the same issue. Not to
mention the fact that you will have an answer in a few minutes, whereas it
can take an hour or more to get an answer from one of us regulars in this
newsgroup.

As for the problem with the lack of support, reading the About dialog box
(Help > About Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware...) would have informed you that
this release is not supported by Microsoft since it is a beta release. You
can also get the following statement from the download page for MSAS
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...A2-6A57-4C57-A8BD-DBF62EDA9671&displaylang=en):

Beta Support Policy:
This is pre-release (beta) software distributed for feedback and testing
purposes.
Microsoft does not provide technical support for beta releases (see below
for
information about how to gain access to newsgroups). If Windows AntiSpyware
(Beta) is causing an issue with your system, we recommend removing it by
using
Add or Remove Programs and even using System Restore if the problem persists.
