Defender Beta Installation Error

I cannot install Defender Beta 2 to replace my Anti-Spy Beta which expired on
July 31, 2006. I get the error message stating that I have to install
Gdiplus.dll, which I already have, over and over again. I am then unable to
complete the installation process. Please help me!
