i think i removed something i shouldn't :(

hi i was wondering if you guys could help me out with a
problem i am having. I went to remove a program from
the "Add or remove programs" section how i deleted the
wrong file by mistake and found out it was called "VIA
tech KLE/PLE Display driver and Utilities" this resulted
in my screen ( icons, wallpaper etc) becomming larger
than the screen and also slowed down my pc. I managed to
sort out the icons problem by changing the screen
resolution however my pc is still running VERY SLOW and
was wondering if you's had any ideas for me...is there
anyway i can restore my pc to before i wrecked it?

any help would be great

My guess is you can use the built in Windows XP restore
feature, go back to the day before. Next, it sounds like
you removed your graphics card driver, if you know what
card you have, you can go to that website and download
the latest driver.

That seemed to have been your video drivers and/or the motherboard chipset
drivers. Just locate the CD for the motherboard/video card and try the
following:

1) Motherboard CD: Reinstall VI 4 in 1 chipset drivers

2) Video card CD: Re-install XP video drivers
