Oskarsson Mikael

My customer have an W2K-domain and E2K. NO Windows/Exchange
2003-serverprodukts.

If I with my XP SP1-computer with Adminpak from W2003 look in "Managed by"
on a group (distributiongroup)
I see an alternativ called "Manager can update membershiplist"

On my W2K SP4 server I can't see that alternativ, WHY?

Regards Mikael

This feature was added to in Windows Server 2003. It is a feature of the
Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) snapin not the domain controller
or AD. Since you are using the Windows Server 2003 ADUC you have this
feature available to you.

You can get the same behavior from you W2K SP4 ADUC by setting the manager
and then going to the Security tab of the group property page and giving the
manager the right to write the "member" attribute.
