Hello,

I appreciate any response to this question. I did a clean
installation because I had a worm virus. I re-installed
Windows XP and followed the directions as I understood
them for the complete reinstallation. When the
installation finished, I rebooted my computer. But now,
it asks me everytime I boot up my computer for the
Windows XP disk in order for Windows to load.

What happened??? I don't get it. I shouldn't need the
Windows XP disk to boot my computer from. It should load
automatically. Did I not properly reinstall Windows XP?

Do I have to do another reinstallation? I don't get it.

Please help.

Thanks,

Byron

It looks like you forgot to go back into Setup, Byron, and reset the boot
sequence to look for your hard-drive (C:\) first.

Goodluck,

Ed
