Hello
I'm a windows XP user and I have a problem. I came here to get help
because apparently nobody else has ever heard of this problem before.
When I'm on the internet and I right-click an image and click set as
background and I go to my desktop and look at it and it's blue. The
whole desktop is just blue and the picture I wanted is nowhere to be
seen.
Does anybody have any advice? Am I just making a stupid mistake?

THANKS

Hi

What resolution is your monitor set to and have you installed the latest
driver for your graphics card?

save the picture you want to use to a folder; go to that folder, set the
view to thumbnail; right-click the picture and choose "set as background".
That should work.

My resolution is set at 800x600, and I don't know about the
graphics card. We've had this computer for three years and I'm pretty
sure nobody in my family knows what a graphics card is, including me.
How can I check it?

Nope. That didn't work either. Background is still blue.

Ergh, blue with a little box in the middle?

That happens to me sometimes, just restart your comp and *usually* the
screen will be as you've set it.

XP is quirky.

Good Luck
