I Need Help With Networking

Hi,
I have a PC that i have my Belkin ADSL Modem with built
in Wireless Router connected to it. It is connected via
my ethernet port. Im currently running Windows XP. I also
have a laptop that is connected wirelessly to it and both
computers are connected to the internet. I am trying to
network my laptop and pc, in the sense that i can access
my pc files wirelessly from my laptop. I did it once and
when I had tor restore my laptop, I lost all the
settings. I really need help and I would really
appreciate it. Thanks
