I need help putting a time limit on my internet connection

i used to have a windows 98 which logged off after being
idle for 20 mins, is there a way to set this for xp?
 
Assuming you are talking about dial up, go to control panel/network
connections/dial up connection/properties/options and you can configure idle
time there. --- Steve
