limited account cannot access internet

I have seen this problem posted around the internet, but almost all the
threads I find end unsuccessful. Okay, I have a DLink wireless router
connected you my Verizon DSL modem. I have two computers which connect to
the wireless router (wirelessly), each run Windows XP. The desktop has 3
accounts (Me, my wife, and my 9 year old daughter). I want my daughter's
account to be a limited account, but whenever I switch any account from
administrator to limited user, the wireless connection cannot establish
itself (it keeps trying to connect, saying it connected, immediately dropping
the connection, and then retrying to connect). When I type in the IP address
of the router from the limited acount in IE7, it won't even stay connected
long enough to click on anything in the router settings. The admin accounts
work fine. I had been using an admin account for my daughter and hiding the
control panel buttons, but she's recently figured out how to get to them and
change computer settings. So, before I go by way of the dinosaur with my
daughter, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what's wrong with the
limited account's internet access.

I would try a different wireless adapter if possible [different brand from
what you have now] to see what happens as that does not sound like something
that should be happening. You might also want to post in the wireless
newsgroup.
