I MUST INSTALL NETWORKING?????

My networking has seemed to stop functioning. It says I
have to install networking before i can change the name
of my computer on the network?????

I'm having the same problem and none of the knowledge
base stuff seems to apply.

I've never heard of this, so I'll make a wild guess. Do you have "Client
For Microsoft Networks" and "File and Print Sharing" installed on the
general tab of your network connection in the connections folder.
