I used to create backup for all my data. A couple of weeks ago I mistakenly deleted some of my important data. But I was assured as I had backup so I didn’t restore them at that time. But yesterday when I tried to restore my data from my backup I couldn’t do so.:(
I got something like this: “the backup file contains unrecognized data and cannot be used.” I know it is an error and also know it is indicating corruption. What I need to know, how do I fix it? Is there any way or program to fix this error and repair my backup file? Please, do help.:)

What form does your backup take? External hard disk? DVD's/CD's? Internal stand alone hard disk? Cloud? USB Stick(s)?

And welcome to the forum :)
