After a major crash with my vaio laptop i was able to reinstall and run
perfectly Outlook. However a week ago my outlook did not let me reply to
emails, than a few days later it would not let me add a new calendar event,
and than yesterday it would not let me start a new email nor sync my PDA with
outlook. Previous info is still there and I can receive my emails. Can you
help??? I use this for work and am loosing valuable information.

What version of Outlook are you using? Are you using a POP3 email account or
do you connect to an Exchange server (Exchange usually is in a business
environment)?

When you say not let you reply or send emails does it give you any error
messages?

I believe it is 2003 and yes I use gmail.com because I use my email for work
and I previously had DSL earthlink.net and loved but my local phone company
forced us to change to embarqmail.com and it has caused me to miss a lot of
work knowing that email is a constant I have been following all the
directions to make it main account

No, that is the strange thing the reply, new message, and new event
icons are not colored brightly they are a gray. The is the only thing that
is different. Oh, and know my Word won't let me edit any existing document
that I get from my jumpdrive but it works okay on other computers.
Thanks for responding

No not at all, the only way to tell that you can not access these is the
reply, new messages, and the new event icons are not dark colors they are a
light gray. Oh, and today Word would not let me edit any existing document
from my jumpdrive nor when placed on the desktop but you can on other
computers without a problem.
Thanks for responding
