I joined a network workgroup, and now a password is required.

I went into Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Network
Identification > Network ID and followed the instructions. I said it was a
network without a domain, and that the workgroup name is Workgroup. Now when
the computer boots up, it requires a user name and password, neither of which
I know since it never prompted me to set them. Is there any way for me to
undo the change without logging in?

Were you a member of a domain before you changed it to a workgroup?

If so - you will need to contact those who setup the computer/put you in the
domain - as they are likely the ones who entered the password.

only the admin can create an account from the server and set which
workstation are allowed to logon.
