i have no sound!

i reinstalled windows xp on my computer but ever since i did that i have not
been ablt to play any sound at all whenever i try to play a sound a window
pops up that say i do not have a sound card driver installed but when i have
windows try and install the driver it says that windows cannot fine a driver
for this hardware how do i get sound to play on my computer

You can download a driver for your sound card from the card
manufacturer's web site.
