I get this message C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT

I have a program that is about five years old. It used to run fine on XP,
but recently I got this message:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system fil is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Coose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

Anybody have a clue as to what's up.

Any help is appreciated.
