Autoexec.nt error msg

I'm getting the following error message especcially when trying to execute
DOS programs:

16-Bit Windows Subsystem

c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

I have messed with autoexec.nt but now I cant find the file anymore, let
alone trying to find it at a dos prompt since I can't even access dos. Can
anyone please help?

- Uninstall windupdates or other spyware variant (add/remove Programs)
- Run Adaware with the latest Def files
- Reboot
- Repair system files : http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=324767
