I can't use the Internet or Network

I have three computers all running Windows XP. Two are running Professional
and one is running Home Edition. One of the ones that is running Windows XP
Pro has a "low or no connectivity" icon. I can't access any resources on
this computer but I can on all of the others. I have road runner and their
program Road Runner Medic but that program does absolutely nothing. It
can't be the cable because I tested that with another computer. I also
tested the network card by putting in another functional one and it still
did not work. The router is not the problem because all of the computers
are using it. Please help me as soon as possible. I also discovered that
within the past few days, I could not run a system restore on the computer
to any of the checkpoints. Thank you for your help.

Start by checking the LSP / Winsock subsystem.

If XP SP2:
1. Start - Run - "cmd".
2. Type "netsh winsock reset catalog" into the command window.

Give LSP-Fix <http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm>, WinsockFix
<http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=257>, or WinsockXPFix
<http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html> a shot.

If no help yet, reset TCP/IP.

Start - Run - "cmd". Type "netsh int ip reset c:\netsh.txt" into the command
window.
