Unable to get new IP address.

Hello all,

About a week ago one of the computers that were hooked up to my Road
Runner modem stopped being able to access the internet. When, it would
always say "Limited or no connectivity" I have tried renew ip and
config ip. Mostly all of those commands. Then a couple of days later
one of the computers on the wireless on the network stopped working,
and another followed a couple of days later. 1 computer that is using
the wireless connection still works and has had no problems for the
past two weeks that the others haven't been working.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

I assume that you have a wireless router connected to the cable modem.
Unplug the power from the router for a few seconds, then plug it back
in and see what effect that has. My wireless router seems to be
having occasional problems like you describe since my Comcast
service's most recent speed increase.

Hello Steve,
We have tried all of the things that you said to try and it still isn't
working. We connected the RoadRunner modem directly to the computer and
still could not get an IP address. We have rebooted everything and we
got the software that rebuilds the IP stack. Any further help would be
great!
