I can't uninsatll a game

?

?

Hello,
My problem is I can't uninstall Rogue Spear: Black Thorn.
I start off by clicking uninstall Black Thorn and then it
says "Are you sure you want to completely remove the
selected application and all its components" and I click
OK. That screen disappears and a new one comes up
saying "Unable to locate installation log
file" 'C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Black
Thorn\BTUninst.isu'". I then click ok and I return to the
desk top and Rogue Spear: Black Thorn is not uninstalled.
How do I uninstall it?
If you can give me a solution it would be a great help.
Thanks

This might seem a bit silly (it is), but have you tried re-installing it?
Once you have, then you should be able to un-install it....

The problem seems to be that it cannot find the .isu file it needs to know
what to delete from your registry file, among other things....
Perhaps the isu file got deleted.... you could try searching your computer
for it.
Click START/search/ type "*.isu" in the search box (minus the quotes)... if
you do find it, copy it to the directory it thinks it should be in.

Sometimes demos are rather messy about things when you want to un-install
them. Was it a demo?

Also, if you use the CD (if that's what it was installed with) it may have
an option to uninstall Rogue Spear. And it will work.

Good luck,

I was just having that same problem, here's how I figured
mine out.
I must have removed the game (Rogue Spear) wrong, so it
existed in my add/remove programs folder but nowhere else.
I got that same message, luckily I had black thorn (or was
it covert opps?) already installed. So I created the
folder I didn't have in the error message (rogue spear).
Then I copied the uninstall file it needed from the covert
opps folder. It worked and I was able to remove it from my
system. Don't know if it'll work for you, but good luck...
