Did you change the strap on the back of the HD from Slave to Master??? Did
you change the boot preference in the BIOS??

Hi...
I only change the hd in my IDE controler (dont know how to say in english)
I just remove the cable (the one that transmit data - ide2) and connect the
other (ide1).

hope this helps you to help me. :)

You need to fix your boot.ini file. The current rdisk value is
probably 3 and it should be 0. How you repair this problem is
up to you. The safe way is to boot into the recovery console
and use the bootcfg command to rebuild your boot.ini file. The
risky way is to edit the boot.ini file directly.

How to edit Boot.ini:

How to install and use the Recovery Console in Windows XP

Note: You can change to another language by chosing it from
the menu under "Article Translations" and hitting the arrrow
next to the box.

If this doesn't fix your problem you might want to consider a
repair installation. Take a look here for that procedure:

Good luck
