I can't read the sub menu of "ALL PROGRAMS"

Recently, there is a small change in my windows XP. That is, I can't read the
sub menu of ''All Programs". For example, when I click "All Programs", then
"Accessories", after this, I can't see any text but a clear FRAME there, so I
can't choose which program I want to run. All the sub menus have the
situation. Of course, I can open "Explorer", then choose the exact program
to run, but it seems some thing funny happened. I scanned virus, not found.

PS: when I use microsoft office programs, even the sub menu from the top
bar, like "File", "Edit",etc. I can't see the text either.

IF any expert can give me some hints to solve this problem, I will be very
appreciated.
