i can't open system restore

evry time i try to open sytem restore the open with menu appears and when i
restart my computer i keep getting the message win32 application not found

Tricia, take a look at Kelly's http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
Select S and scroll to System Restore.
Do you select System Restore by going to Start>All
Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore?

Hi Tricia,

Go to Start - Run and paste the following command then press enter.

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

Do you get the same error message?

Does "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\rstrui.exe" exist?
