I can't open device manager on XP pro Help!!!

The snap-in is not created it may be install properly
Name Device Manager

How can I fix it? Please help me. I use SP2

I have the same problem as paxluvja described. The error messages are
identical. But none of these solutions worked.

I've been trying to find an answer for a week and am not getting anywhere!
