I can't install my scanner hardware

Can someone help me? When I try to install my Microtek Scanmaker hardware
on my XP system I get this message... The software you are installing for
this hardware:
Microtek Scanmaker V6UPL
has not passed Windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with windows
XP.

This hardware will no be installed. Contact your system administrator.

I have another computer with XP & Microtek scanmaker installed on it and it
works fine, how can I get around this.

Ignore the message and continue the Install of the Software. Make sure
you are using WinXP Drivers.
