I can't get thet 'Flip Image' prompt to highlite. Why?

I've done it before with no problem, but for some reason the prompt won't
activate no matter what I try...HELP!
 
OKay, maybe you can help me then. I am trying to create a text box with a 3D
affect that I can mirror image for T-Shirts...any suggestions?
 
Mirroring text and images for T-shirt transfers is usually best accomplished
through the printer driver. Most color printers have a setting in the
printer Properties for "Mirror image," "Flip horizontal," or "T-shirt
transfer." Investigate your printer's properties for such a setting.
