Search your hard drive for winword.exe (you'll need to tell Windows to
include hidden and system files). When you find it, create a new shortcut
and drag it to the desktop, Start Menu, or Quick Launch bar.

Follow these steps:

1. Right-click on your Desktop - point to New - Shortcut
2. Click the browse button to locate WINWORD.EXE
3. The path is your System Partition's - Program Files. E.g.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\WINWORD.EXE"

4. Click Next button - type a name like "Microsoft Word"
5. Click Finish.
6. To add this shortcut in your Start Menu, right-click on your Shortcut -
choose Pin to Start Menu or drag and drop the shortcut to appropriate
location in Start Menu.

Hope this information helps you, let us know!

Sorry if multiple replies. Sometime it happens.

If you repair Word from Control Panel > Add & Remove Programs flgging the
checkbox to recreate shortcuts, the original shortcuts should be restored.
