Looks like what you REALLY can't do is Save the movie, which you usually do
before exporting it. I tried the same thing, only my system processed for
about 30 minutes, got to 91%, then the time remaining went from seconds to
minutes, and increased. Overnight it went up to 45 minutes remaining.

Thinking it could be a memory problem, which it really couldn't be when
you're trying to save a 360 mg file and have 112 GB available, I deleted some
of the collections. Possibly a major mistake. Now whenever I try, even with
new clips which are 100% available, I get an error message from the Save
Movie Wizard.
"Your movie was not saved successfully. Windows Movie maker cannot save the
movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used
in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still
available, and that there is enough free disk space available, and then try
again."
I tried more than one location, including the desktop. I started with 4
clips, all of which had the original available.

I'd really be interested in hearing from anyone who has had great success
with Movie Maker 2! Actually, in the past four month since I've upgraded,
I'd like to hear from someone with ANY modicum of success!

Been there, done that. Bought the t-shirt, won the trophy. Exhausted all
resources at HP, whose final solution was to "Call Microsoft". Stil, it
doesn't work. Re-config'd, restored. re-captured, re-installed. Still, it
doesn't work. There has to be a parameter or configuration change when
updating or installing updates or SP 2 that has to be changed, or SOMETHING
that is awry.

I'll check out your website... it may be the only one I HAVEN'T seen. I'm
not an inexperienced or novice user. Thanks, however, for replying. Any
specific help would be GREATLY appreciated!
