My movie wont save to my computer...

I've finished my movie, and all the clips are wmv files but every time I try
to finish it and save it to my computer it gets to 3 green bars and then
tells me:
"windows movie maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify
that the origionaly source files used in your movie are still available, that
the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk
space available, then try again."
I have got 4gb free space, so that can't be the problem, I have tried saving
it in a number of different areas, and the same thing happens, and all the
files are there, so I don't understand the problem! Can ANYONE help?!

Thanks, I've converted the wmv's to avi's but it wont let me edit them
properly and keeps freezing! Does anyone know any reliable converters that
will work with movie maker? Please help!
