I cant download anything

hi, hav a problem, i cant download anything, from any site. the download
window doesnt even appear. my security centre is also gone. anyone know what
this could be.

Please provide more info about your Operating system version, Anti-virus are
you using, what happen for all of these to come up to the surface!.
How many users on this machine.
What firewall if any install other than Windows Firewall?.
Did you tried System Restore to an earlier date?.
Make sure your system is clean by scanning your machine from an online
scanners or by downloading offline scanners.

all my virus protection is gone, dont have a firewall anymore, of i think
'coz i cant find the security centre, i have tried online virus scan, it
doesnt come up with anythin.

If you ran an online virus scan, then you are able to download "some
things." Online virus scans need to "install" a small ActiveX module
to enable the scan to work.

Sound like your PC may been "hijacked."
