I can't change my desktop wallpaper!

When I go to display to the desktop tab, it won't let me change my
wallpaper. I have tried to restart my computer and refresh my desktop but
nothing changes . I can change the color but not the wallpaper. What can I
do.

XP Pro (From Group Policy Editor):
Click STart > Run
Type gpedit.msc
Expand "Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Display" under User Configuration
Double click "Prevent Changing Wallpaper" and Set it to "Disable"


XP Home/Pro (From Registry Editor):
Click Start> Run
Type regedit
Go to "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop
Delete the value "NoChangingWallpaper" from right side

What can I do.

Talk to your system administrator if this is a corporate computer. If
the computer belongs to you, that option has been disabled by malware
and messing around with policies will never ever remove that malware!
