i cannot send a email

hi
i cannot send email, but i can recieve. somebuddy have an idea what coluld
be the problem. any help will be apreciate.
I have a DELL inspiron 1150 Window XP Home and last week i sign with McAfee
a Anti virus trial

What email client?
Is it properly configured?
Are you getting any error messages?

Please help us to help you. What E-mail program are you using? Has it ever
worked? Who is your ISP? What does "i cannot send" mean? What happens when
you try? If you get an error message, please quote it verbatim.

Iam using Yahoo.com and i recieve emails from anywhere but i cannot send
emails. a friend send me several emails but i reply all of thusand she don't
recieve my reply email , i don't know wich is myt ISP? the mean of course.

Maybe i have to configured it. i don't get a error message.
can you help me to configure please if this is the problem??

You are using Yahoo mail through a browser, like Internet Explorer or
Firefox or Opera?

If that's the case, the problem is likely either that you don't have the
correct address or that yours is blocked for some reason. Be certain that
the address you're sending to is correct, and test with some other email
addresses you know are right. If you can't send at all, contact Yahoo mail
support.
