I cannot press the letter than goes after L in the alphebet

I use a laptop and whenever i press that letter, that letter won't appear,
(it's hard to be understandable without that letter)

also the # one doesn't work, is that the laptop? or windows? and can it be
fixed?

Either the keyboard is dirty or faulty.
Try removing and cleaning it.
You can get a replacement from the manufacturer.

Call in warranty or find out how much it will cost to replace that key..

Another option, purchase a USB Keyboard and plug it into the laptop to see
if it works.

But i dont think that its with windows.. coz windows doesnt have
anything to do with the keyboard settings.. Unless and otherwise ur
using a software which interprets keystrokes for certain functions....

Actually, Windows does. For example, here's a registry patch that
will make the CapsLock key behave like an extra left shift key:

Now I grant you that it's pretty unlikely anybody would bother to
remap the M key to nothing, but it can be done. And it's the kind
of trick that might apply to a coder of malware. Again granting
that the most likely explanation is a bad keyboard, I still
recommend the OP to look in the registry and see if that key and
value exist (not necessarily with the same data).

If so, some remapping is indeed going on. In that case I would
export the key and value as a backup, then try deleting the value
and logging off and on again. (A reboot is not necessary, according
to my tests.)
