I cannot get archiving to work

My archiving stopped working. I have tried my settings: 'Older than 2/1/05'
then 'older than 60 days'. checked 'apply to all folders'.
nothing works. There are messages from 2004. (this is 4/7/05).
I use 'cached exchange mode' yes amd no.

outlook looks at the following properties to determine eligibility for
archiving.

1) Sent date
2) Received date
3) Last Modified date
4) Do not archive bit

Also keep in mind that a blank (null) date is treated as 1/1/4501 and will
never be eligible for archiving.

thx Neo, but all these settings are ok. the received/sent dates are from
back in 2004, no 'do not archive'.
so, back to the drawing board
