Is it only email to that address that has this problem? Try sending a short
message to yourself if you need to check.

Does you connection to that server cross over from one internet provider's
equipment to another's before it reaches the server? If so, such
connections
to port 25 are often blocked to cause problems for spammers, and you
need to ask ntlworld.com if you can use some other port instead, and if so,
where to find their instructions for doing this. Just trying all the ports
is a
very slow way to find out, since there are about 65,000 ports available and
it's unlikely that more than a few of them will accept outgoing mail.

Also, unknown errors in Windows Mail are often due to interference from
an antivirus program. What if any antivirus programs do you have?

You might want to click on the Outbox and move any messages you find
to that address over to your Drafts folder, and see if this helps you send
messages to other addresses.

Hi - yeah it does the same for all email addresses. i've tried the moving it
to the drafts folder with no luck. I thought it could be my antivirus but
other users on the same comp can send their mail ok - any more ideas? thanks

If it does the same for all email addresses, you may not have found the
message
that causes the problem. Try moving all the messages in the Outbox of the
user
with the problem to the Drafts folder or deleting them. Let us know if any
of them
refuse to move or delete.

Problems in Windows Mail caused by antivirus programs often affect only some
of the email accounts for some of the Vista users, and are often rather slow
in
appearing.

Also, a few email servers object to handling messages with a blank subject
line.

Which company provides your connection to the Internet?
The reason I ask, it looks like NTL's server considers your connection
to be non-NTL.
