i can recieve email but i am unable to send.authentivcation 530

i am having trouble sending email thru outlook. i can bypass and send
directly on comcast server.i am running windows xp and mcafee virus and
firewall. mcafee and comcast support unable to resolve problem they suspect
outlook.does anyone have a fix for this problem?
 
Disable McAfee on Outgoing Mail. That should help. Just let it check incoming
mail only.

This did not help. I was able to fix problem after googling 530
authentication. I had to enter my comcast user name e mail address and the
password I use to recieve emails on the comcast site under the more settings
tab in outlook . thanks mary, pan pan
