I can receive, but can't send mail

When I try to send mail I get this message: The host 'POP3' could not be found.
Account: 'POP3', Protocol: POP3, Port:110, Secure (SSL): no, Socket Error:
11001, Error Number: 0X800CCC0D

"POP3" is not a valid mail server name. Go to your mail provider's website
and look up their instructions for setting up an email account. Each provider
has their own mail servers. If you need more help, tell us who your mail
provider is.

I am having the same problem. The email I use is hotmail and the internet
provider I use is time warner. I am unable to send emails using windows
mail. I do not know what my POP3 and my SMPT is. Thanks

Hotmail does not use POP3 or SMTP, unless you pay extra for
Hotmail Plus. Free Hotmail accounts can't be used with Windows Mail,
but they will work fine with Windows Live Mail:
