I-Beam Justify cursor gone?

I am trying to right align part of a line of text in Word 2002 (office xp).
"Help" says to hit enter (for a new line), them move the cursor so that the
right justify appears (on the cursor) and then type the text.

Two things:
How do I get my justify cursor back?
Is there an easier way (without the cursor) to right align part of a line of
text?

Sounds like the Help is advocating using Click and type. What you really
want is a right-aligned tab stop. See

tab stops is using the ruler; see
