i am using windows XP with a dial up connection

how can i disable call waiting so when my phone ring i am NOT disconnected
from the Internet

Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options > Dialing rules (tab) > Edit >
General > 'To disable call waiting, dial...' (check this option and enter
appropriate number per your phone company's instruction)
