I am unable to create rules in outlook

I have recently installed outlook onto an upgraded computer and restored all
of my e mails, calendar and address book. However I am now unable to create
new rules to deal with my the e mail messages in my inbox. The rules and
alerts box is available under the tools menu, but the new rule is greyed out.
Can anyone expalin what is worng.

Hi Gerry,
i have the same error.
I have created a new Profile and all went well now!
