Every time I log on now, I get a small window that says "I AM SERVICE! It
gives my several button options; none of which I care about ot think I ever
will. I don't know why it started appearing. I don't care what it's for. I
just want it to go away and never re-appear again. How do I get rid of it?

Be more specific. What are the options and/or buttons? Does it have a
program name?

I think someone is messing with you. Check out these links

Or better yet, google for yourself, just make sure you put "i am service"
in quotes or you'll end up with every hit for "i" and "am" and "service"

It's the size of a 3x5 card and completely light grey in color. In 3/4
ininch black letters it says "I am service!!" Down the left side it has 6
buttons: AiGear, Frequency, Button2, Button3, Button4, and Button5. Ont the
right side it has one button - Buton7. To the right of the 6 buttons and
under Button 7 is a 'working window of sorts' (You can write in it.) If you
click on AiGear button - nothing happens. If you click on the Frequency
button - you get 6 digits 321495. Nothing happens with buttons 3 & 4. Button
5 gives you numerous lines of information like - ucld: 0x04080011 (67633169)
ucld: CPU FAN
dwStatus: 0x80000000 (-2147483648)
and a whole bunch of other stuff

Do you know what it is now?

Yeah, Dave, That's it. According to your link, there isn't anything I can do
about it. That's just great. Thanks anyway.

I'm going to email ASUS and see if there is some fix. I'll post my response.
Thanks Guys!

:
Shut the damn thing off! Go to start/run type in msconfig and go to
startup and take the checkmark out it.
Reboot and voila!
No more!
Be happy! :-)
